J.K. SIMMONS - RELIEVED

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- J.K. Simmons can probably relate to the team most people think will win the NCAA basketball tournament. When you win, it's nice -- but it's also a relief. Simmons won the Oscar for best supporting actor for "Whiplash." And he says being considered the front-runner all that time made the awards season a challenge. He says that when he heard his name finally read off as the Oscar winner, there was a mixture of happiness -- and relief. He says being considered the person who had the award sewed up -- and then having to wait to see if it would really happen -- was, as he put it, "a bizarre position to be in."

J.K. Simmons says he got to meet one of his heroes at the Oscars luncheon. ((note length of cut))

FELICITY JONES - MUM

NEW YORK (AP) -- She says she can't talk about her starring role in her upcoming movie, the "Star Wars" spin-off "Rogue One." But Felicity Jones says she is happy to chat away about what life has been like for her the past few months. She was nominated for best actress at the Oscars for her work in "The Theory of Everything." And though she was in competition with the other women in the category, she says there was no personal competition among them. Jones says all the women up for the honor supported each other -- and she says that "was really nice."

Felicity Jones is asked if she has had to come up with new ways to say she can't talk about her upcoming role in a new "Star Wars" movie.

JENNIFER LOPEZ - CAR

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The dude who crashed into Jennifer Lopez's Rolls Royce last year is getting probation. Prosecutors in Los Angeles say Robert John Reitz entered a plea of no contest to drunken driving yesterday -- and was sentenced to three years of probation. Authorities say Reitz, who lives in Las Vegas, had a blood alcohol level of 0.17 -- nearly twice the legal limit -- and that reading was taken three hours after the crash. Lopez was in the car with her two children at the time of the accident; actress Leah Remini was driving. No one was hurt in the collision

BRONSON PINCHOT - FORECLOSURE

HARFORD, Pa. (AP) -- Bad financial news for a former star of the TV sitcom "Perfect Strangers." First National Bank of Pennsylvania says it has foreclosed on four of Bronson Pinchot's properties in Harford Township. Among the properties Pinchot failed to keep up with was the community's post office. The bank says Pinchot owes more than $270,000 and hasn't been heard from in over a year. He also owes $13,768 in taxes. The properties are scheduled for sheriff's sale next month.
