Meet Peaches our Pet of the Week.

We meet Peaches, a 3 year old domestic long hair cat, and discuss how important flea protection is for our feline friends.

Your cat may get fleas even if it never goes outside, especially if you have a dog that is coming in and out of the house.

Watch for signs of fleas moving on the cat.

Comb your cat daily with a flea comb to skim off adult fleas and flea eggs.

Then dip the comb in a mixture of water and liquid dish detergent to kill fleas.

Keep carpets flea free.

Consult your vet for other remedies. Never use dog flea treatment on cats!
