Community Raising Awareness for Strokes, Heart Disease
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WRSP) —
Walkers, donors, and volunteers are set to fill Lincoln Park in Springfield on Saturday, May 6, 2017.
The Heart and Stroke Walk kicks off on May 6 to raise awareness and draw attention to heart disease, which is the number one cause of death in Americans.
The goal is to raise a total of $150,000. The event starts at 8 a.m. Saturday.
