Springfield Township To Giveaway School Supplies

The Springfield Township will be giving away basic school supplies throughout the week for eligible, low-income families.

Kim Sessna of the township says, many schools in Sangamon County now require supplies that are name brand and usually cost more.
   She says this give away provides those things, which will alleviate stress from parents while helping their children to succeed.

To qualify for free school supplies, applicants must meet federal poverty guidelines and have been a resident of the Springfield Township for six months.
