Champaign police are calling what was found in Women's Health Practice an "incendiary device" and are asking the public to come forward with any information they may have. Police are calling the incident an attempted arson.

This comes after practice employees reported finding that suspicious device and a broken window upon coming into work last Tuesday morning.

"It's not too often here in Champaign we come across an explosive device such as that,” Champaign Police Officer Carmine Romano said. “There's not too much detail on exactly what it is because it still is under investigation. But if you do see something out of the ordinary that looks like it doesn't belong in that place, call the Champaign Police Department or your local police department."

If you have any information about the incident at Women's Health Practice you are asked to call Champaign County Crime Stoppers at (217) 373-TIPS.
