Gov. Rauner Booed During Commencement Speech
CHICAGO, Ill. (WRSP) —
It's graduation season, and at Chicago State University, the commencement speaker, Governor Rauner, got booed. Students said they hold Governor Rauner responsible for the financial struggles of the college. Four hundred university staffers lost their jobs in 2016 because of the budget crisis. Rauner told reporters he got the message.
