Illinois lawmakers react to Vegas shooting
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WRSP/WICS) —
Reaction pouring in Monday morning from lawmakers about the shooting in Las Vegas.
Gov. Bruce Rauner also announcing flags will be at half-staff in Illinois until October 6 in honor of the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.
Illinois Senator Dick Durbin tweeting saying, "My thoughts are in Las Vegas with dozens of victims of this horrific gun attack. What a nightmare."
Governor Bruce Rauner sent a tweet Monday morning saying, "Prayers for all in Las Vegas. Terrible tragedy. First responders have our undying gratitude."
Sen. Tammy Duckworth also sounding off on the violence in Vegas.
Rep. Rodney Davis weighed in with his prayers for the victims in the Las Vegas shooting.
