Illinois Unemployment Rate Drops
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WRSP) —
The Illinois' unemployment rate dropped for the second, consecutive month in March. The rate is 4.9 percent, which is the lowest level in a decade. Data shows, Illinois is still lagging in job growth, Industries like manufacturing, construction and government have lost jobs in the past year. Illinois' unployment rate is still higher than the national rate of 4.5 percent.
