Over the years, senior Jacksonville wide receiver, James White, has racked up so many catches, he's building on his Central State Eight conference receptions record with two games left in the season.

"I'm going to keep working to get it," White said. "I'm going to get all of the catches I can, and hopefully that will help us get further in the playoffs if we do, and help us get to the playoffs."

He said it's good to see his hard work pay off, but he didn't do it alone.

"I give all of the credit to my coaches, my teammates, my parents," White said. "They've helped me a lot over the years, and without them I wouldn't be who I am and that record probably wouldn't have been broken."

The previous record was 181. White is at 190 and counting, but he says the only reason he wants more is to help the team win.

"Having the record is a big accomplishment, but if we weren't winning games, I don't think I would want to have that record," White said.

White wants to play in college. He is looking at mostly division two and a couple of division one schools.
