UPDATE I Bomb threat at Pleasant Plains High School Friday
PLEASANT PLAINS, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) —
School has resumed at Pleasant Plains High School after a bomb threat on Friday morning.
School officials found a written note at 9:30 a.m. saying there was going to be a bomb at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
Police were called after the discovery of the note.
Students were evacuated from the school.
Parents were allowed to pick up their kids.
Bomb sniffing dogs searched the campus but nothing was found.
At this time there are no leads.
Pleasant Plains Police Department is investigating.
There is currently a heavy police presence at Pleasant Plains High School as of Friday afternoon.
Officials are responding to a possible bomb threat. K-9 officers are also assisting in the investigation.
