"The property inside is a total loss at this time," Rantoul Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Kaiser said. "They had lots of equipment and trucks and some personal items, motorcycles, that kind of stuff that was inside. They were able to get the stuff that started and the stuff that ran and they were able to save some of the vehicles, but there's still other vehicles and other objects inside that's a total loss. Tools and other property."
Assistant Chief Kaiser said the cause of the fire is still being investigated, but crews believe it started in the back of the building around an electrical panel.
