State Fairgrounds listed as endangered historic site
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) —
Landmarks Illinois' list announced Wednesday the State Fairgrounds in Springfield and Du Quoin are some of the most endangered historic places in the state for 2018.
A total of 13 state sites were listed.
The Illinois State Fairgrounds ranked ninth on the list.
Kincaid Mounds in Brookport, Massac and Pope Counties took the number one spot as the most endangered site.
