Driver charged in Teutopolis school bus crash
TEUTOPOLIS, Ill. (WRSP) —
The woman accused of crashing into a school bus in Teutopolis back in February has pleaded guilty.
Scarlett McKinzie, 37, has been charged with an aggravated DUI.
Police say McKinzie was driving a van that struck a school bus near the intersection of Moultrie County Road and Route 32 East.
The school bus then flipped onto its side.
Five students were sent to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
