U of I Research Park Hold Networking Event
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCCU) —
Dozens of people were at University of Illinois Research Park Thursday, hoping to land the perfect job.
Catalyze was held at the Enterprise Works Atrium, sponsored by the Research Park and the Champaign County Economic Development Corporation.
The networking event was open to more than just students, aiming to connect professionals and employers in an informal setting.
"We're really thrilled to have a big opportunity to show off the Champaign-Urbana tech community, and the hope is that the companies here receive resumes and meet people more conversationally to learn about their companies and hopefully find a great fit for an employment opportunity," said Research Park director, Laura Frerichs.
Employers featured at Catalyze included Syngenta, Agrible, and startup companies based in the Research Park.
