Joe Cadotte joined ABC Newschannel 20 and FOX 55/27 in May as a multimedia journalist.

Joe is excited to cover stories across central Illinois.

Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, Joe has spent time as a reporter there as well as in Superior, Wisconsin; Twin Falls, Idaho; Wichita, Kansas and Omaha, Nebraska.

Joe earned a national Edward R. Murrow award for the team breaking news coverage when an EF-3 tornado tore a 16-mile path through Sedgwick County, Kansas.

Joe also earned two regional Murrow awards for team breaking news for covering a mass shooting at a lawn mower manufacturing company in Hesston, Kansas.

When he’s not actively working in news, Joe Cadotte likes to spend time with friends and family, taking road trips (130,000 miles in seven years), pretending to be a chef, playing guitar, singing and doing nerdy stuff like Magic the Gathering and playing SNES.
