Second U.S. fertility clinic reports freezer failure
A second fertility center is reporting a malfunction that jeopardized embryos.
An official at the California Clinic said a cyro-storage tank lost liquid nitrogen on March 4, and the eggs and embryos inside may no longer be viable.
The center is contacting patients about the malfunction.
That same weekend, University Hospitals Fertility Clinic in Cleveland experienced a similar, unrelated incident.
