Springfield, IL — March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. In our health segment, Dr. Derek Robinson talks about cancer that can be beaten with early detection.

According to the American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in the United States for men and women. While an estimated 6,600 Illinoisans will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer this year, the good news is that colon cancer is highly treatable and often curable when found early.
