World Glaucoma Week
Glaucoma is often called the "silent thief of sight" because it has no symptoms, is painless and can go undetected until it's too late.
It is a leading cause of irreversible blindness in the world, impacting 60 million people worldwide and more than 3 million Americans.
Unfortunately, roughly half the people that suffer from it, don't even know they have it.
In honor of "World Glaucoma Week," we're joined by ophthalmologist Dr. Robert Fechtner who will shed some light on the condition.
