Arrest warrant issued in deadly Springfield gas station shooting
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) —
Springfield police have identified a suspect in last week's shooting at a marathon gas station.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Keshon McClinton of Springfield. The 18-year-old is wanted for first degree murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
His bond is set at $5 million.
Officers were called to a shooting at the marathon gas station on east south grand avenue last Friday.
They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He dead at the hospital.
Police have identified the two other men they believed were present when the shooting happened. They interviewed both and determined they were not involved.
