Dining out can make your hormones go haywire

You might want to start cooking more at home.

Researchers said dining out increases your exposure to a chemical called phthalates that make your hormones go haywire.

According to the Journal Environment International, people who ate at restaurants and fast-food places had 35% higher levels of phthalates than those who didn't.

The good news: those chemicals stay in the body for only about a day.
