FISHER, ILL. (WCCU) — Adults and children gathered at the Fisher Fairgrounds for some fun and games Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday’s events included a concert and the Miss. Fisher Queen Pageant.
Mindy Piper and her grandson said the Fisher Fair has become one of their favorite summer traditions.
"This is my grandson’s favorite day of the summer [when] he gets to come out to the fair,” Piper said. “Last year was our first year and we had a great time so we have decided to make it an annual event."
Piper’s grandson looks forward to the rides all year long.
"My favorite ride is the big Ferris wheel because it’s so tall and also I like the big slide because it's so fast,” Piper’s grandson said.
The fair runs through July 14.
Admission is $5 during the week, and $10 on the weekend.
