SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) — The Illinois Right to Life is celebrating Friday's Supreme Court Roe vs. Wade reversal while also hoping it brings about a pro-life cultural change.
"It is a landmark case. As far as affecting Illinois, I hope it will energize those people who are pro-life to look at the candidates they vote for and begin to bring about a pro-life atmosphere and culture here, which right now we don't have," said Mary Jean Sheets, executive director of Springfield Right to Life.
Illinois Right to Life says they're goal is to use education and support for women and young families to win Illinois for Life.
