Man's body found in Lake Michigan

CHICAGO (WICS/WRSP) — The Lake County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man's body was pulled from Lake Michigan Thursday.

Around 8:30 a.m. the Waukegan Police Department reported a body was found near a pier in the harbor.

Sheriff's deputies discovered the body on a rocky area in the pier.

The man's body was taken to the Lake County Coroner's Office where the investigation is ongoing.
