According to the Champaign County Circuit Clerk's Office, back in 2017, Lafayette faced charges of aggravated domestic battery - strangulation, domestic battery - physical contact, and criminal damage to property ranging from $500 to $10,000.

But that's only the beginning.

In July 2018, Lafayette was charged with possession of meth and possession of a controlled substance.

Then in 2019, Lafayette was charged with another aggravated domestic battery - strangulation charge, plus additional charges of domestic battery - bodily harm and endangering the life or health of a child.
