"Pay Now Illinois" Coalition Files Lawsuit
Several social service provides say they still haven't received any funding, despite lawmakers passing a stop-gap budget last month.
They say they're pushing forward with a lawsuit to make that happen.
The "Pay Now Illinois" coalition is suing Governor Bruce Rauner and state agencies over the funding shortfall.
The coalition says their 99 members are owed a total of $161 million, and that almost none of them have been paid.
One of the social service agencies in the lawsuit is a not-for-profit headed by Governor Rauner's wife, Diana Rauner.
