'Rigged Election' in Central Illinois?

Donald Trump has claimed that this election is rigged, tweeting multiple times about the issue to his 12 and a million followers, but local election headquarters say this election is completely secure.

Officials are expecting a large turnout of people coming to the polls on November 8th.

In Sangamon County early voting has already started.

County Clerk Don Gray says there’s already been thousands walking into his office to cast their ballot.

Once these ballots are in the tabulator, which keeps track of the votes, it won’t be open until polls are closed on Election Day.

“We take the security and integrity of our election system very seriously,” said Sangamon County Clerk Don Gray.

Gray says there are steps made to make sure people don’t vote for a deceased relative.
