Two injured in Danville shooting incident

Danville police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Monday night.

Officers responded around 10:03 p.m. to the 900 block of Moore Street with a report of shots fired.

While on scene, officers located a 23-year-old Centralia man with a gunshot wound to his arm.

Officers located another victim, a 20-year-old Danville man with a gunshot wound to his leg. Both victims said they were standing on Moore Street when they heard multiple shots fired before being struck by the gunfire.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment. They sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing.
