Marlena Lang

Marlena Lang is a multimedia journalist for Fox Illinois. Marlena was born and raised on the island of Kaua’i, Hawaii. She graduated from Biola University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in journalism and integrated media with a concentration in broadcast. She also minored in Biblical studies and social justice.

During her time at Biola University, Marlena was very involved in all campus media. She worked as the photo editor for the Chimes Newspaper and yearbook, anchored Eagle Vision, and reported for Good Morning Biola. Earning her the broadcast journalism achievement award her senior year.

When Marlena is not reporting, she enjoys exploring new areas and spending time with friends and family.

Marlena is excited to serve the Champaign-Urbana area and get to know the community through their stories.
